For nearly 30 years, AQHA has been the leader in equine programming for television, surpassing all others when it comes to marketing the American Quarter Horse.

America's Horse TV is television on demand and can be accessed FREE from any computer with an Internet connection. With more than 223 million Internet users in the United States added to the more than a billion worldwide, America's Horse TV can now reach more viewers than any single cable or satellite network. And the best part is it's free to all viewers.

The channels

There are six channels of programming with new programming added weekly.

  • America's Horse – Flagship channel containing AQHA's anchor program. New and classic episodes relative to the horse owner. Sponsored by Tractor Supply Co.
  • Events – AQHA and Alliance Partner competitions, trail rides and highlights from AQHA's signature events. Sponsored by Bank of America.
  • Health – Educational programming dedicated to the health and welfare of your American Quarter Horses. Includes features on vaccinating, breeding, general care and product spotlights. Sponsored by Fort Dodge Animal Health.
  • How To – Learn how to lead your horse, proper tack and equipment, perfecting your horse's gaits and much more. Sponsored by Tractor Supply Co.
  • People & Horses – profiles of American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame inductees and famous American Quarter Horses. Sponsored by John Deere.
  • Ranches – award-winning ranches and the ranching lifestyle. Sponsored by FedEx.

Add America's Horse TV to your Web site

America's Horse TV is updated on a daily basis and all of the content is organized by RSS technology. If your Web site can parse RSS feeds, or if you use an RSS reader to keep you updated on new content, we invite you to add our playlists!

For publishers: The above RSS feeds contain a variety of information to enhance you web content. You can use the feeds to display the video's URL, title, description, video length (in seconds) and thumbnail image. Additionally, we offer a keywords field so you can program your site to deliver video content based strictly on search criteria.

How it works

The video streams straight to the computer (without downloading) so high-speed connections will have virtually no delay, while older connections may experience a slight one. All posted videos are Flash video files (.flv) and viewers may need to download software to be able to view the files. Flash software is available as freeware and can be found online at adobe.com.

Currently, America's Horse TV cannot be watched on IPhone or ITouch. Plans are underway to offer iPhone compatibility.
